OFFICIAL HD Let's Move! "Move Your Body" Music Video with Beyoncé - NABEF

This week, Beyoncé worked her magic and did the impossible. She made Michelle Obama's fight against childhood obesity look cooler and more fashionable than ever before. The pop chart diva revamped her 2007 hit "Get Me Bodied," and dubbed the new version "Move Your Body" in support of the first lady's "Let's Move!" healthy eating campaign.

"Move Your Body" exploded when released online Tuesday, racking up nearly 1.5 million YouTube video plays in less than a week. In the video, the "Halo" singer, dressed in short shorts, knee high socks, and heels, storms into a junior high school cafeteria and leads a group of students through eight missions that involve various dance moves.

Without any special effects, costume changes, or celebrity guests, Beyoncé manages to create one of her most compelling videos to date.  In a behind-the-scenes clip, students discuss their struggles to make better eating choices, and Beyoncé explains her desire to help spread Michelle Obama's encouraging message.

Michelle Obama, Jill Biden speak to over 8,000 at FAMU campus about student issues, economic crisis

Photo Gallery: Michelle Obama visits FAMU

According to Cindy Dick, Fire Chief of the City of Tallahasse, somewhere between eight and ten thousand people gathered on a hot and sunny day at the campus of Florida A&M University to hear Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden speak. The two women showed great respect for each other and spoke highly of the presidential debate held Friday night (Sept. 26, 2008).

The Rickards High School marching band opened the event with excitement. A giant “Change” banner was suspended in front of great white pillars. First Jill and then Michelle entered through double white doors, were swung wide open for their dramatic arrivals.

Jill talked about her experiences as a professor at the community college level. She explained that her students are her heroes, often juggling day jobs and caring for their children while still finding time to go to college. She described her dreams of a country in which college was affordable for everyone.

Michelle discussed Barack’s history and his promise to end the war in Iraq. She urged the students in the crowd to take action and help register Floridians to vote, noting that there are only nine days left to register here. In Florida, every vote counts, as it is a major swing state. She promised that she would personally call the parents and grandparents of the student on campus who registered the most voters and sing the praises of their child.

Please enjoy a video of the event.

Obama Warns GOP "Lay Off My Wife"

Sen. Barack Obama ripped into a Republican ad today that targets comments made by his wife, Michelle, and called the GOP tactic "low class" and "detestable."

The senator and his wife discuss the race for the White House. The Illinois senator told "Good Morning America" that he expects hardball tactics from the Republicans if he becomes the Democratic presidential nominee.

"But I also think these folks should lay off my wife," he told "GMA" as his wife chuckled beside him.

Obama’s got game, says his brother-in-law the coach

I asked Craig Robinson to talk about the side of Barack Obama you don’t see in public. I figured he would know. Robinson is the brother of Obama’s wife, Michelle. He is 45 and coach of the Brown University basketball team. We were having coffee a few blocks from his office on Thayer Street.

He told me there is no different side.

“He’s really authentic,” said Robinson. “What you see is what you get.” He told me that wasn’t just a brother-in-law speaking.

Michelle Obama Visits University of Maryland Eastern Shore

PRINCESS ANNE, Md.- Michelle Obama, wife of Democratic presidential candidate, Sen. Barack Obama, paid a visit to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore on Monday, in a last minute stop one day before the Maryland primary election.

About 1,200 crowded into the UMES Ella Fitzgerald Performing Arts Theater where Mrs. Obama spoke of change, a central theme in her husband's campaign. Another 300 watched the speech in an overflow room in another building on campus.

"We usually don't get too many big names coming to this school," said UMES senior Blair Bruton, who attended the rally. "For me, it was a big thing."
